  • I really like this paella pan. It weighs 5 pounds, which is pretty good. I have a burner on my stove that can produce 19,000 BTUs per hour – so I can cook almost anything at high temperatures, if I want. This pan cooks fairly evenly at high temperatures, but I still need to move the pan around the burner to cook evenly at high temperature. I also have a 7 pound copper Mauviel oval pan that cooks more evenly than an All-Clad pan at high temperature. I don’t knock on the All-Clad pan, but simply note that if you like to cook large dishes at high temperatures, the All-Clad pan may not be the best option you can get. Even if it said, it is a big pan for money in my opinion.
